| 7.62x54mmR; 80% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 31'' barrel, Tula arsenal manufacture, 2nd type PCFCP markings, dated 1924. Original blued finish and birchwood stock. Non-matching bolt and floorplate. Buttplate matches. CAI import marked on the end of the barrel. The metal has surface rust spotting overall with areas of heavy pitting on the exposed barrel. Missing the upper barrel band. Wood is worn, with a small arsenal repair to a crack on the left side of the forend near the sling slot. Missing the cleaning rod. The bore has worn rifling with corrosion in the grooves., s/n N135xx |
