| 8x50mmR; fair bore, good stock, 31.5'' barrel, Tulle arsenal manufacture, dated 1890. Original metal finish has turned an even patina overall. Walnut stock. Non-matching serial numbers. "N" stamped on top of barrel chamber and receiver, for use with "heavy" ball ammunition. The metal and wood show wear and handling, there are spots of pitting along the wood line on the barrel. Mechanics are good, magazine cutoff operates as it should. The bore shows strong rifling, and is dark in the grooves. Antique., s/n 497xx |
