| 8x57mmJ; 50% blue, Very good bore, Very good stock, 22.50'' barrel, Commercial 88 sporting rifle with blade front sight and folding leaf express rear. Receiver is missing a majority of its bluing and has been engraved along both sides and on top of the reciever ring. Walnut stock with checkered pistol grip with grip cap. Checkered plastic buttplate. Both sides of the stock have a brass inlay. Left side is engraved with a boar, the right side is engraved with a bear .Engraved fold down tang sight. Left side of receiver rings is stamped "2.75g G.B.P. StmG" which is the German commercial proof mark for non-military firearms. It is the powder charge the carbine was proofed with. Checkered flat bolt handle. Bolt face is missing the ejector., s/n 50xx |
