On the left diagonal are two British proofs. ¾-inch single edge spear point folding blade is marked on obverse with, MON XLL / UNWIN & RODGERS / PATENT, Blade engraved which includes a banner, A SURE DEFENSE, reverse is not engraved but does have dark spots. Cocking the hammer opens the breech for loading/unloading, with the ears on the extractor acting as a rear sight. The butt has a trapdoor compartment for spare bullets. Presented in a locking (has one key), wood case with blue velvet lining, two storage compartment and a cleaning rob. ANTIQUE. |
