| For use with an overhead projector, this is a working U.S. Army training device for the Model 1911A1 pistol. The device consists of a transparent, plastic cut-away Model of a 1911A1 pistol in an wood case. Movement of three external levers demonstrates the various cycling/functions of the 1911A1 pistol. A metal nomenclature/property tag dated 1956, describes the device, is screwed to the bottom left corner of the base. There is a wooden case that houses the training device with an illegible sticker on the center of the lid, and another sticker in the lower left corner marked, TO PISTOL, CAL 45/DEVICE 29-GA-8. This is a rare and unusual addition for you collection. Complete with instruction sheet. |
