| This small pouch has no legible markings, and has a full flap with brass stud closure on the bottom and two narrow belt loops on the back. We do not know the purpose of the pouch, it is about the size for a compass or may be a percussion cap pouch. Measures 3.25 inches wide, 3.5 inches high and 1.5 inches deep. The leather is fragile and dry with surface cracking, and one of the belt loops has detached from the top copper rivet. There is a sign of an attempt to glue the loop back into place., |
