| 54 Caliber; fair bore, fair stock, 6'' barrel, Dated 1847. Barrel shortened to 6 inches, similar to the 1842 Navy pattern pistols. Barrel and lock in the white with dark rust spotting and some pitting. Brass mounted walnut stock has no legible markings. Stock has cracks on both sides. The brass trigger guard grip tang is engraved in the old style Gustave lettering "H.H.H SK". Lock functions fine, nipple is damaged from dry fire. Bore is rusty. Antique |
