| Collins & Co Hartford Conn manufacture, dated 1862. This is an example of a basic NCO sword as issued during the American Civil War. 31.75 inch blade with a brass handle and guard. The blade has minor pitting overall, and the guard and handle retain the original age patina. Overall good condition, the handle is loose, with a small collar at the front of the handle behind the guard being split. No scabbard., |
