| 54 Caliber; fair bore, good stock, 8.5'' barrel, Manufactured by IN Johnson, dated 1853. Even dark rust patina on metal. Brass mounted walnut stock. Lockplate marked on the side "US/I.N.JOHNSON" and at the rear "MIDDTN/CONN/1853". Inpsector marks on the left side of the barrel. Stock has no legible markings. Action functions fine. Small crack on the left stock flat in front of the rear lock screw. Surface rusty bore. Antique. |
