| good grips, 1871 U.S. Navy short dress sword with scabbard. 20in unsharpened polished blade, marked with "U.S.N. G.G.S 1871", shows some spotting. Original leather washer intact. Brass grips molded in a scalloped pattern to represent eagle feathers, has some very minor patina. Comes with original leather scabbard, black paint finish around 93% left, shows some minor wear and cracks, brass fittings in good condition with some minor impressions towards the tip, also missing one mounting pin on the tip., |
