| 30-06 Cal; Good bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, RA 3-43 4 groove barrel. Original parkerized finish with some blued small parts, mounted in a 2 lug walnut stock and handguard. Most of the small parts have the R mark for Remington manufacture. The bolt body is not marked. The stock is marked on the left side with boxed FJA, RA and Ordnance Wheel stamps which are a bit faint. Circle P firing proof and small inspector stamps appear in back and front of the trigger guard. Includes the attached post war M1 web sling and front sight cover. The metal finish is thinning overall. The wood has been lightly sanded. Mechanically fine, The bore has strong rifling showing some frost throughout. The muzzle gauges 1. C&R/FFL, s/n 34931xx |
