| 30-06 Cal; good bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, SA 1-42 barrel, arsenal refurbished for issue during WW2. Parkerized finish, mounted in a walnut scant C stock and handguard. All milled parts, the safety and cutoff are R marked. Stock marked on the left side with a boxed SA/GAW cartouche, ordnance wheel escutcheon and boxed RIA/FK. Circled serifed P firing proof on front of the scant grip. Mechanically fine, the bores rifling is strong and the muzzle is good, showing frost throughout. Note: 1903 Springfield rifles serial numbered below 800,000 are "Low Number" rifles that some consider unsafe for shootiing purposes. C&R/FFL, s/n 757xx |
