The Model 1913 Cavalry Saber, commonly referred to as the Patton Saber, was a cavalry saber designed for the U.S. Army by Second Lieutenant (later General) George S. Patton in 1913. It had a large, basket-shaped hilt mounting a 35 in. straight, double-edged, thrusting blade, with a 29 in. fuller, designed for use by light cavalry. The blade is in very good condition, with few dark spots. The obverse side of the riccaso has the flaming bomb / LF&C / 1918 and the reverse side has U.S. It has a blackened metal finish on the hilt and scabbard fittings. The grips are in very good condition,
