Rollins of Rockford, KY who served first in Co D of the 155th Inf 39th Division and then was transferred to Company F of the 126th Inf 32nd Division in which he served out the war. Group consists of his coat which is British type, pullover Army shirt, puttees and overseas cap. Insignia consists of 32nd Division red arrow shoulder patch, red discharge stripe, one overseas chevron. Collar brass infantry F US 126 and US on Cap. Also includes his named ditty bag, a sewing kit and silk Souvenir de France. Also, two rolled photos: First is for the 12th CP 3rd batt 159th Depo Brigade in which he served and the second is The Odd Fellows Grand Lodge. Research includes histories of the 38th Division and the 32nd Division, copy of his discharge, application for the Kentucky veterans’ bonus and a card showing his service information., |
