| 9 mm; 97% blue, near mint bore, near mint grips, 4'' barrel, The barrel has a Crown/N proof with a DDR proof date of 753 (July 1953). Full SN over DDR State Eagle and DDR Crown/U proof on left receiver. Middle and rear toggle have DDR Crown/U proofs and SN. E. German Eagle and Crown/U proof on left frame rail. Full SN on front of frame. No lanyard loop on the rear, or stock lug. It has a red dot in lower safety position. The magazine is non numbers matching, the aluminum body is stamped 2-1001. One of very few (reportedly less than 100 ) new manufactured pistols produced in the old Haenel plant in 1953 (VEB Ernest Thalmann) that utilized the original Krieghoff tooling to make new parts that differ in detail from WWII production components., s/n N-10xx, Catalog Number PW-40 |
