| 12 Ga; 85% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 28 7/8'' barrel, Standard grade, marked on top of the right barrel "Shot & Reguated by Holland & Holland" and on the left barrel "98 New Bond Street, London". Both sides of the frame are marked "W & C. SCOTT & SON". Blued steel nitro proved barrels, blued frame and mounted in checkered English walnut. 2 3/4 inch chambers with both chokes gauging Modified. The barrel appear to have been shortened to length. Brass bead front sight. Features a boxlock action, double triggers, automatic ejectors, Anson release wide forearm and a straight grip stock with a serrated bone buttplate. The barrels show minor finish wear with a few scattered light scratches. The frame shows worn and thinning finish. The wood has some minor dings and handling scratches. There is a screw with ferrules run through the flats behind the frame. Mechanically fine with tight lockup, the ejectors work sporadically., s/n 298xx |
