| 7.5X53.5MM; 90% blue, good bore, good stock, 21.75'' barrel, Very rare Swiss cavalry issue with a Mannlicher straight pull bolt action. One of just over 4000 produced by Sig Neuhausen c.1896. Not many of these survived in original configuration due to hard use and even intentional damage as they were not well received by troops. Serial number 370 with a matching serial number bolt, magazine and forend nose cap. 6 round detachable box magazine. Swiss military proofed and +/S inspector halmark. Blued finish shows some wear on high points and edges. Walnut stock and handguard have been very lightly cleaned up with a faint Cross in Shield stamp on the right butt. Strong +K in shield stamp on top of the butt heel. 3/4" tight crack on top of the stock behind the receiver tang. Drift adjustable front sight blade. Tangent rear sight graduated for 1200 meters with a flip up 400 meter blade. Original leather sling. The bore is bright with strong rifling, with visible areas of pitting. Muzzle=7.57+.
