| 8x57mm; 87% blue, good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Stamped on top of the receiver with the code "dot", eagle/63 proof, and date 1944. Original blued finish. Laminated stock and handguard. Complete matching bolt. Stamped and welded upper and lower barrel bands, both unmarked. Stamped triggerguard with "qnw" code. Stamped floorplate with eagle/214 proof. Stock is the earlier variant with cupped buttplate and takedown disc. Eagle/swaztika militry acceptance marks located on the left side of the barrel and receiver ring. Two eagle/63 proofs stamped on the right side of the receiver ring. Handguard is matching, stamped in the channel. Stock is stamped in the channel with a spread 6 and d. Original front sight hood. Cleaning rod is a possible reproduction. No import marks. The bore has shine and strong rifling, showing light corrosion in the grooves., s/n 221xxa |
