| 8mm Mauser; fair bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Czechoslovakia, stamped on top of the receiver with the code "dou" and date "41". Eagle/607 proofs and nazi eagle/swaz military acceptance marks. Numbered parts matching except the cocking piece. British proofs on the barrel and receiver. Original blue finish has turned patina with some spotting. Walnut stock and handguard. The stock has no legible proofs. The stock has cracks on both sides of the grip. Tiny U.S. import mark on the left side of the receiver ring. Missing the cleaning rod. Mechanically fine, the bore is dark. From the collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. C&R/FFL, s/n 94xxb |
