| 80% blue, fair bore, good stock, 22'' barrel, Mixed blued and phosphate finished metal. Laminated stock and handguard. Matching bolt carrier. Stock has no legible serial number. Stamped on the left side of the rear sight base "K 43 ac/44" followed by the serial number, eagle/359 proof and eagle/swaztika military test proof. The right side of the rear sight base is stamped with an additional eagle/359 proof and another appears on the left side of the bolt carrier. The stock has a highlighted eagle/359 proof which may be a restamp. The sling well on both sides of the buttstock have diamond shaped repairs. Black paint finish 10 round detachable box magazine marked with a "gcb" code, "K43" and two eagle/WaA892 proofs. Original dust cover on top of receiver. Sight hood and cleaning rod. Eagle/359 proofed mount has cracked around the center of the rail at the screw and latch. "ZF K 43", "dow" triangle marked scope serial numbered 41419, with these markings cancelled on the left side. Optics are cloudy, adjustments stiff. The bore at the muzzle of the barrel has been internally threaded, presumably for installation of a plug for blank firing. The bore has strong rifling however is dark and rough throughout. Includes a 5-shot magazine. Reproduction leather sling., s/n 93xxo |
