The left side of the slide is marked "P.38" and "ac 44", the code for Walther and the year of manufacture. The rare FN frame, slide and magazine bear the acceptance marks "Eagle/359 The magazine is also marked "jvc" The overall condition is fine. The original finish is about 80% with some light holster and high edge wear. The markings are clear. The serial numbers match. The bore is sharp and shiny. The action is excellent. The grips are in very good condition. Here is a World War II P.38 that would be difficult to improve on!, s/n 39xxh |
