| 9x19mm; good bore, very good+ grips, 4 7/8'' barrel, Post war custom engraved with antique grey finish and fitted with checkered walnut grips. Post war slide, marked on the left side of the slide with the Walther banner and "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do. / P 38". Unmarked frame. Barrel and locking block have matching serial numbers with nazi eagle/WaA135 proof and eagle/swaztika acceptance markings on the left side. The pistol is fully engraved with floral scroll and oak leaf relief. The firing pin cover is polished bright with cross hatching. Trigger and hammer polished bright. Post war P.38 and banner marked magazine with antiqued grey finish. Appears used little if at all since customizing. Each grip panel has a small ding. The bore shows some wear to rifling and light corrosion., s/n 2xxY |
