| 32 ACP; 90% blue, excellent bore, good grips, 3.25'' barrel, This PPK was a prize given to a Forest Worker (Game Warden) for a skiing competition in 1937. the slide engraved over the left side "Thur. Forstbeamten-und-arbeiter-Skilauf / Oberhof 1937". Original blued finish shows some edge wear. Original bakelite grip is overall good however there is slight warping at the bottom front corners and a 1/8" crack on at the upper back edge under the web. Original finger extension magazine has some rust pitting. Standard Walther Zella-Mehlis markings on the left side of the slide. Crown/N commercial proofing. The slide does not match the frame, numbered internally., s/n 7938xx |
