| 455 Caliber; 75% blue, good bore, good grips, 5'' barrel, Webley & Scott Mark I "N" with original blue finish and checkered walnut grips (broad arrow proofed on backs). Fixed front and windage drift adjustable rear sights. Left slide marked with the Webley winged bullet logo and "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD/PISTOL SELF-LOADING .455 MARK I N/1914". Several government inspection proofs on frame and small parts, broad arrow marks. Lanyard ring present on butt of frame. Original factory magazine, not numbered. From the collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. Condition: 75-80% original finish with light spotting over all, thinning finish the frames gripstraps. Bright bore with sharp rifling, minimal oxidation. A highly desirable military issue Webley Mark I pistol. Our import mark on the bottom of the frame. Mechanically fine. The bore shows some light pitting, shine with strong rifling., s/n 48xx |
