| 455 Webley; 30% blue, fair bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Commercial production MKIV 455 revolver acquired by the Royal Navy. Large broad arrow engraved on the top strap. Broad arrow proofed on small parts, commercial crown/BV and NP proofing on left barrel, frame and cylinder chambers. Matching serial numbers. Cancelled sale marks on frame and barrel. ENGLAND export marked on the left barrel. Missing the lanyard ring on the grip butt. Cylinder is un-cut. Metal finish is worn, with levels of pitting. Grip screw is a non-original replacement, the right grip missing the screw ferrule. Missing the latch spring. Mechanically fine. Bore shows wear and corrosion., s/n 1126xx |
