| 12 Gauge; 95% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 26'' barrel, Manufactured iin England prior to WW2. Blued finish barrels with rarely encountered 2" chambers, choked Full and Improved Cylinder. Concave narrow barrel rib which has a gold inlaid "2"" over the chambers, silver bead sight. Case colored boxlock action with moderate scroll engraving. Double underlugs and double triggers. Desireable auto ejectors. Checkered walnut stock, forearm with push button latch. Straight grip with a 14.5" LOP. The buttstock having a walnut extension well fitted which has a partially serrated butt. Slight cast off. This double weighs in at a handy 5 1/2 pounds. Unmarked silver oval inlay on the bottom. Serial numbers are matching. This double shows fairly light handling wear and is mechanically in fine condition, barrels lock up well and the bores are bright and clean. This gun comes with the original cardboard box with a nearly full label on the lid and the cardboard internal divider. Box is in very good condition for its age., s/n 1165xx |
