| 45 Caliber; good grips, 6'' barrel, Manufactured c.1896. Nickel finish, reproduction checkered hard rubber grips. This revolver has had a plug pinned inside the muzzle end of the barrel, with a hole milled into the bottom of the barrel for blank firing only. The barrel has been smoothbored and is stamped on the left side ".45 BLANK". Original Webley markings with the winged bullet logo on the left side of the frame. The barrel rib is retailer engraved from Lyon & Lyon in Calcutta. Worn nickel finish with rust spotting in areas of loss, many nicks and scratches. Mechanically functions fine with good lockup. Consignor notes state: "The Titanic purser waves it around as boats are loaded", however there is no documentation that this revolver was used in either movie about the Titanic. Antique., s/n 85xx |
