| 22 LONG RIFLE; 75% blue, good bore, fair stock, 30.75'' barrel, Swiss M1889 rifle manufactured in 1892, converted to 22 caliber single shot. Original blued finish. Walnut stock and handguard. 96/11 style grip added to stock. Matching bolt and buttplate. Magazine modified, shortened with sping and follower removed. Box used for capturing spent 22 shells. Standard military front and rear sights. "P20" private purchase mark on top of receiver ring. Faint Cross in Shield proof on right side of stock. Metal and wood show wear and handling. Some light surface rusting on exposed metal. Stock has a small crack on top of the heel and behind the receiver tang. Lower sling swivel moved to left side of stock butt. Barrel is not numbered, having a number "47" stamped on the chamber with a small WR inside an oval proof. Antique, s/n 306xx |
