| 22 LONG RIFLE; 85% blue, good bore, good stock, 31'' barrel, 1889 infantry rifle manufactured in 1893, converted to 22 caliber single shot rifle. 22 barrel insert installed, marke on top of the receiver "F. BADER / LUZERN". Matching serial number bolt and buttplate. P33 private purhase marked on top of the receiver. Standard military rear tangent sight, marked with a small circle in the center at the 550 meter mark and stamped "300" on the left side of the base. The bottom of the upper forend has a brass inlaid shield which is stamped "KRIENS / 1". Modified magazine with sprung grooved follower which is marked "DEPOSE WH". Sharp Cross in Shield markings on the right side of the butt and top of the handguard. The metal finish shows scattered minor surface spotting and the stock shows handling dings and dents. Mechanically fine, bore is dirty. Antique., s/n 1333xx |
