| 22 LONG RIFLE; 50% blue, excellent bore, fair stock, 31'' barrel, 1889 infantry rifle manufactured in 1891, converted to 22 cailber single shot rifle. Replacement barrel with matching serial number, marked on the top of the chamber "H. GRUNDER / THUN". Modified magazine with a sprung grooved follower marked "DEPOSE WH". Matching bolt. Walnut stock and handguard, the stock has faint markings and the butt was cut, having two sections of wood added. There is a minor crack behind the receiver tang. Military leather sling and muzzle cover. Standard military tangent rear sight. P11 private purchase marked on top of the receiver. Metal finish is worn with spotting overall. Lower bolt knob is chipped. Mechanically fine, the bore has been greased. Antique., s/n 56xx |
