| 22 LONG RIFLE; 90% blue, good bore, good stock, 31'' barrel, 1889 infantry rifle manufactured in 1893. Converted to 22 single shot having a 22 barrel insert installed. Blued finish, walnut stock and handguard. Matching bolt, buttplate and rear sight base. Standard milltary front and rear sights. Braided leather sling. Grip fitted to the stock. The trigger guard plate has had the cutoff mount ground away and finished over. No magazine. Metal and wood show some wear and handling, scattered light surface spotting on the metal. Mechanically fine. Bore is dirty, should clean out to better condition. Antique., s/n 1229xx |
