| 22 LONG RIFLE; 85% blue, very good bore, good stock, 31'' barrel, 1889 infantry rifle manufactured in 1891, converted to 22 caliber single shot. Stocked up and sighted in 96/11 style. Matching bolt and buttplate. Sleeved barrel. Stamped on the barrel chamber "W. HARDI AARAU". Faint Cross in Shield on the right side of the buttstock. Magazine box is fixed in place, there is no follower or spring. The metal has light surface rusting overall and the wood shows plenty of wear and handling. The handguard has a large gouge on the left side. Lower bolt knob is damaged. Leather sling attached. Mechanically fine. Antique., s/n 97xx |
