| 22 LONG RIFLE; 80% blue, good bore, good stock, 31'' barrel, 1889 infantry rifle manufactured in 1893, converted to 22 caliber single shot. Matching replacement 22 barrel marked on the chamber "O KNECHT / OLTEN". Matching serial number bolt and buttplate. Original magazine modified with a sprung follower tray marked "DEPOSE WH". Standard military rear tangent sight. Missing the front sight blade. Includes the attached military leather sling and muzzle cover. Sharp Cross in Shield stamp on the right side of the buttstock. Metal is surface rusty. Stock shows wear and handling. Bore is dirty. Both bolt knobs have damaged ends. Mechanically fine. Antique., s/n 1362xx |
