| 22 LONG RIFLE; 90% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 23.75'' barrel, M1889 infantry rifle manufactured in 1892, converted to single shot 22 caliber K-11 pattern. 22 barrel installed finished in the white. Walnut stock and handguard. Matching serial number bolt and buttplate. Standard tangent rear sight with graduations 100-1500 meters, a Girex fine elevation adjustment added under the leaf. 1889 magazine modified by being cut down, with a grooved sprung follower marked "DEPOSE WH". The stock is marked on both sides of the butt with a burned in "BUHLEGG". Faint Cross in Shield marks on the right side of the buttstock and top of the handguard. The receiver walls have been cutdown at the chamber to provide easier single loading. Mechanically fine with a bright sharp bore. Antique., s/n 86xx |
