| 22 LR; 98% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 23.3'' barrel, SWISS M1889 RIFLE MADE AT WF BERN IN 1893 AND LATER PRIVATIZED IN 1907. THE CARBINE IS UNIQUE AS IT WAS BEAUTIFULLY CONVERTED INTO A SINGLE SHOT 22 LR. THE MAGAZINE HAS WHAT LOOKS LIKE A MAGAZINE OUT OF A MODEL 1889 WITH ITS MAG CUT OFF LEVER WITH A NEW FOLLOWER FABRICATED AS A LOADING TRAY. THE REDONE BLUING SHOWS NO WEAR. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE WALNUT STOCK HAS NICE GRAIN AND SHOWS NUMEROUS DINGS AND SCRATCHES. COMES WITH A SLING AND MUZZLE CAP. IMPORT MARKED., s/n 1298xx |
