| 7.5X55 MM; 96% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 30.7'' barrel, SWISS M96/11 INFANTRY RIFLE WITH MATCHING NUMBERS ORIGINALLY MADE AT WF BERN AS A M96 RIFLE IN 1899 AND LATER CONVERTED TO M96/11 CONFIGURATION BETWEEN 1912/1920. THE RIFLE WAS PRIVATIZED IN 1936. THE BLUING IS TURNING PLUM ON THE BARREL AND HAS DULLED SOMEWHAT ON THE TRIGGER GUARD ASSEMBLY. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD+ RIFLING. THE STOCK IS SOLID AND NICELY GRAINED WITH THE TYPICAL INLETTED PISTOL GRIP. THE RIFLE WAS LATER SET UP FOR COMPETITION WITH THE ADDITION OF A FINE ADJUSTABLE REAR SIGHT.
