| 45-60 Cal; fair bore, good stock, 28'' barrel, Manufactured in 1883. Original finish has thinned with areas of browning, silvering. Casehardened frame with some silver mottling. Original walnut stock. Full octagon barrel with fixed front silver blade sight and folding ladder rear sight. Marked on top of the barrel with the Winchester address and King's Improvement patent dates in two lines. Caliber markings on top of the barrels chamber and bottom of the brass cartridge elevator. Engraved on the upper tang "-Model 1876-". Original dust cover in place. Mechanically fine. Antique, s/n 329xx |
