| 25-20 Stevens; 70% blue, good bore, good stock, 28'' barrel, Manufactured in 1900. Original blued finish and plain walnut pistol grip stock, ebony forend tip. Hard rubber grip cap. Full octagon #1 barrel with fixed front and elevation adjustable rear sights. Top of the barrel stamped with the Winchester 2 line address. Barrel and receiver have no oval proofs. Metal finish thinning, remaining finish on the receiver still bright. Light spotting on metal. The buttstock has old small chips on each side at the upper corners at the tang and receiver. The action functions well. Bore has shine and strong rifling, shows light pitting/corrosion throughout., s/n 874xx |
