| 22 LR; 30% blue, fair bore, good stock, 26'' barrel, Built in 1914. The bluing on the barrel and reciever are worn with what remains turning patina. The wood shows wear with scattered dents and scratches. Curved steel buttplate. The bore is pitted. The front sight has a bead and a hooded post that flips up. The rear sight is a semi-buckhorn. A tang peep sight has been added. The top of the barrel is stamped with " MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN CONN. USA" and "22 LONG R" over the chamber. The bottom of the forend has a piece of black plastic inleeted into it., s/n 1032xx |
