| 22 Long; fair bore, fair stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in 1899. Original blued finish. Plain walnut stock. Octagon barrel, fixed front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight missing the adjusting screw. Missing the magazine tube follower. The upper mount for the magazine tube is detached. Metal finish is worn, blue mix with patina and surface rusting and spotting. Original markings remain legible. Stock ahs cracks and chips at the wrist and is loose. Tang screw is a replacement. Forend has a crack on the bottom at the rear end. The top of the receiver has a sighting groove cut. The action functions fine. Our import mark., s/n 768xx |
