| 44 Caliber; fair bore, poor stock, 20'' barrel, Model 1892 SRC chambered in 44-40 Winchester. Manufactured in 1909. No finish remains and appears to have been cleaned of any trace finish. Markings remain clear and legible with the two lne Winchester address and 1884 patent date on top of the round barrel. Original fixed front and ladder rear sights. Gumwood stock, the buttstock has cracks behind the upper and lower tangs and on the wrist behind the frame. Missing the saddle ring, rear sight base screw and upper band screw. Magazine tube has several dents and the barrel is bulged just behind the front sight. Bore is a dark with rust and pitting. Action functions fine. Our import mark., s/n 4690xx |
