| 12 Gauge; good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in 1897. Original blue finish and plain walnut stock. Steel barrel with 2 5/8 inch chamber designed for use with black powder shells. Choke gauges Improved Cylinder. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Winchester address and patent dates 1893, 1890 and 1892 in two lines. "WINCHESTER/MODEL 1893" stamped on the slide. The barrel finish has turned mostly patina with some dark spotting. The frame retains about 50% original bright blue finish with areas of surface spotting and some dark spotting on the right side. The stock has worn varnish finish on the left side in the area of the grip. 13 inch LOP with the original steel buttplate present. Mechanically fine. The bore has some light pitting.
