| 303 British; fair bore, good stock, 28'' barrel, Manufactured in 1912. Original blue finish and walnut stock, forend with ebony tip. Round barrel with brass blade fixed front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight. Nickel Steel markings on the left side of the barrel. Oval proofs on top of the barrel and receiver. Winchester address and patent dates in two lines on the left side of the receiver. Upper tang is stamped "MODEL 1895/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK REG. IN U.S. PAT. OFF". Worn and thinning metal finish, receiver mostly gray with some spotting. The wood has been lightly sanded long ago, with a repaired crack on each side of the buttstock behind the frame.
