| 12 Gauge; 70% blue, good bore, good stock, 20'' barrel, Though unmarked, this shotgun falls into a known serial number range of guns procured by the U.S. military during the WW1 period. There were two blocks of serial range. First block was 433,000-475,000. This gun falls into the second known block of numbers 550,000-574,000. Old reblued finish. Original plain walnut stock with checkered hard rubber buttplate. Faint two line address and patent dates stamped over the left side of the barrel. Chamber is stamped for choke "CYL.". Missing the bead sight. Matching numbers on frame and barrel. This shotgun has seen lots of use since being refinished, however it functions fine and there is no major damage, worn metal finish with scattered spotting, handling marks and scratches on the wood, etc., s/n 6513xx |
