| 30-06 Cal; 90% blue, good bore, very good stock, 26'' barrel, Winchester 10-17 barrel, original blued finish, walnut stock and handguard. Parts are marked with the proper W stamp for Winchester manufacture, or unmarked. Stock is "W" stamped on the tip. Left side of receiver is stamped with the U.S. ordnance flaming bomb followed by a star inside a circle marking, indicating early production for non-interchangeability of parts. Thinning/browning finish on the bands, front sight protector and handguard ring. Sharp eagleshead/500 proof on bottom of forend. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling and a tight muzzle, showing frost and some light pitting. C&R/FFL, s/n 344xx |
