| Winchester manufacture vintage 44 WCF ammunition in the original paper wrapped cardboard box. Seal cut. Full original 50 rounds. Green lid label 97% intact. Pink inner lid label with reloading information at 100%. Top label fetures a picture of a cartridge and printed "50 CARTRIDGES .44 Cal./ FOR/ WINCHESTER RIFLE MODEL 1873/ CENTRAL/ FIRE/ SOLID/ HEAD/ MANUFACTURED BY THE/ WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO./ NEW HAVEN, CONN., U.S.A.". One end of the box has a cartridge pictured, and one side has an 1873 rifle pictured. Opposite end is printed "These Cartridges are made especially for our MODEL 1873 RIFLE, and guaranteed to be superior to all others for use in that gun. We urge their use and decline to guarantee any gun except when used with our make of Cartridges". Cartridge headstamp "W.R.A. Co. 44 W.C.F.". Brass casings with lead bullet, ammunition is clean, few rounds with minor corrosion, clean primers. |
