THESE INTERESTING WERE MADE BY NIKKO AS PART OF THEIR GOLDEN EAGLE SERIES. WINCHESTER MARKETED THESE RIFLES UNDER THEIR NAME IN EUROPE. THE HIGH POLISH BLUING SHOWS SOME LIGHT MARKS ON THE BARREL ALONG WITH LIGHT WEAR ON THE TRIGGER GUARD ASSEMBLY. THE RECEIVER IS LIGHTLY ENGRAVED. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE HIGH GRADE CHECKERED WALNUT STOCK HAS A RIGHT HAND PALM SWELL AND MONTE CARLO CHEEK PIECE. THE STOCK SHOWS LIGHT WEAR AND SCRATCHES. THE RIFLE IS FITTED WITH A TASCO 3-9 SCOPE WITH CLEAR OPTICS AND A DUPLEX RETICLE.THESE WINCHESTER 777s ARE QUITE SCARCE IN THE USA. IMPORT MARKED., s/n 265xx |
