| 22 CAL; 99% blue, excellent+ bore, excellent+ stock, 20'' barrel, EARLY WINCHESTER MODEL 9422 MADE IN 1972 IN EXCELLENT USED CONDITION. THE BRIGHT ORIGINAL BLUING IS NEAR FLAWLESS. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE SMOOTH BUTTSTOCK AND FOREARM ARE EXCELLENT SHOWING JUST A FEW SUPERFICIAL AND TINY MARKS. WHAT IS REALLY INTERESTING ON THIS 9422 IS THE REAR LADDER SIGHT THAT WE CAN FIND NO REFERENCE TO. EVERY 9422 WE'VE SEEN HAD THE TRADITIONAL SLIDER STYLE SIGHT. THE SIGHT LOOKS MORE LIKE A REAR SIGHT FROM A WINCHESTER 73 OR 92 WITH ITS FLIP UP LADDER. POSSIBLY A REPLACEMENT FROM A PREVIOUS OWNER. NO BOX OR PAPERS., s/n F303xx |
