| 30 CAL M1; excellent bore, very good stock, 18'' barrel, EARLY 1'ST BLOCK WINCHESTER M1 CARBINE WITH A BARREL DATE OF 1-43. THE BLUED BOLT IN THE CARBINE IS CRACKED THAT THE CONSIGNEE LEFT IN FOR ORIGINALITY. HOWEVER ANOTHER CORRECT WINCHESTER BOLT IS SUPPLIED WITH THE GUN. THE CARBINE HAS ALL WINCHESTER PARTS AND THE CORRECT TYPE I-A RECEIVER WITH THE TYPE 1 REMOVABLE SPRING TUBE. THE PARKERIZED FINISH SHOWS MODERATE WEAR ON THE RECEIVER. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE HIGH WOOD STOCK HAS A "W" MARK IN THE SLING WELL WITH AN UNMARKED PISTOL GRIP. THE CARTOUCHE ON THE RIGHT BUTT IS UNREADABLE.
