| .351; 98% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 20'' barrel, Produced in 1957 and very uniquely tagged, "STATE OF NEBR. DEPT. OF INST. JX-9432". With a blade front and semi-buckhorn rear sights, with standard markings on the barrel, and matching numbers on the receiver and trigger group. Smooth walnut pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate. Condition: Excellent, with 98+% of the original blue finish. Stock is excellent, with some mild signs of only honest use, no abuse. Mechanically excellent. Educated Winchester resources state that the Model 1907 was a solidly built and reliable rifle, in some ways well ahead of its time. And like many of the fine firearms of yesteryear, it was eventually pushed aside as too expensive to make, yet to today it oozes cool. Give us a call., |
